4. How this will become the biggest single milestone for JP since Guttenberg and the Internet: The JP management team needs to decide some fundamentals to secure the success of the new JP S-paper: a. Much lower prices – NB! this can easily be done without cannibalization b. Much more content (also future (not yet printed) stuff) c. A lot of the good stuff available within the JP S-paper has to be removed from the free (with anonymous access) JP.dk – NB! this can easily be done without losing traffic The management team also needs to fulfill the big plan for a scanned (back to the beginning of JP) searchable e-paper archive. Recommendation: Chose the scan from paper quality – not the microfilm! Finally JP has to plan and execute an ambitious marketing launch including all available media channels. A hook in this campaign can bee the part with the scanned archive promoted via catching one-liners as: - See the newspaper from the day you were borne - Get the full and true story as your grand dad didn’t tell you - ..
