Note that the numbering has two parts separated by a hyphen. The first part is assigned in a sequential manner as samples are received from various stations. If two samples are collected at the same time from a station for different sets of analysis, the first part of the number is the same. The second part corresponds to the parameter code. - The results of the analyses of all the samples having the same first part of the code would be entered in the data entry system as one sample having the same station code and time of sample collection.
