  2. 2. WHY USING 3D ANALYST <ul><li>Makes spatial data look like the world it represent. Seeing the spatial data in three dimensional perspective makes it easy to grasp relationship that remain abstract in two dimensions. </li></ul><ul><li>The 3D Analyst enables to perform a wide range of activities : </li></ul><ul><li>Create realistic surface models from multiple input sources. </li></ul><ul><li>Determine height at any location on a surface. </li></ul><ul><li>Find what is visible from an observation point. </li></ul><ul><li>Calculate the volumetrik diffrence beetwen two surface. </li></ul><ul><li>Work with 3D vector features to make realistic models of the 3D world. </li></ul><ul><li>Visualize the spatial data in 3D. </li></ul>
