1. 1. “The Cop and the Caller”
A Classic Fable by Aesop Retold By: Chuckie Sailer
March 15, 2011
51149254690745In the beautiful city of Camden, a police offer named Jeff put up a wanted poster for a wanted criminal. The poster had a phone number to call if there was any information known. There was a phone call one week later. Jeff answered, “Hello?” A man repeated, “The Criminal you’re looking for is on W 81st Street.” Creeping with the emotion of fear Jeff replied in a cowardly voice, “Sir I appreciate your concern for the safety of our city but I have no intentions on finding the criminal himself. I just need the knife he was carrying at the moment of the crime.” The caller replied back to him:
Sir I appreciate your concern for the safety of our city but I have no intentions on finding the criminal himself. I just need the knife he was carrying at the moment of the crime.”“The Hero is brave in both deeds and words.”
