  3. 3. MBTA Warehouse Fall 2012 Collaboration Studio Project Site: Boston, MA Summary This was a group project that included studentsfrom Landscape Architecture, Interior Design andArchitecture. The site was an old power plant in theCity of Boston located in the South End. Our goalwas to create a walkable community and add moreopen space that was lacking in the area. We createda design that was very modern while at the sametime incorporating elements from the past.

Downtown San Antonio Spring 2013 Senior Project Studio Project Site: San Antonio, TX Skills: Photoshop, Illustrator and Sketch Up Summary The focus of the project was toredevelop an area of San Antonio thathas been neglected for years. The areaof interest is located Southwest of theintersection of I-35 and I-37. We cameup with a plan that encouraged more useof alternative forms of transportation andless use of cars. We narrowed a few ofthe roads, created more green space andexpanded on the art community adjacentto the site. We focused on making a placeto live, work, and play in.

Santa Chiara Study Center Fall 2011 Study Abroad Project Site: Castiglion Fiorentino, Tuscany, Italy Medium: Pen on VellumSummary While in Italy we had two major projects tocomplete while we were there. The first was to drawout the construction details of the famous places wevisited on our travels. The second was to redesignthe Piazza Girabaldi in city we called home for threemonths, Castiglion Fiorentino. The below plan showsa normal day for proposed piazza while the plan onthe right shows how the space functions during theweekly markets. The space needed to be quite open toincorporate the variety of needs of the town.

JJAEP Outdoor Classroom Fall 2010 Design Studio Project Site: Lubbock, TX Medium: (below) marker and pen (right) sketch upSummary JJAEP is a special school for students that have had many problems with theirconduct within school. They are taken out of regular school and placed here at JJAEP.Our project was to work with a few of the students to come up a design for an unusedcourtyard at the campus. We had many interesting ideas from the students and wecame up with the below design. It was a great experience for us and the students atJJAEP.
