Final Research Paper
The final research paper is the culmination of the semester’s
work. It should be a detailed research paper that includes an
introduction, thesis, body, and conclusion. The paper should be
void of all grammatical mistakes and include proper in-text
citations for all sources (MLA format).
Please adhere to the following guidelines:

Double spaced

Size 12 font, Times New Roman, 1” margins

Include page numbers

A heading at the top of the first page should include:

title of the assignment

Between 12-15 pages

Works cited page MUST be included (do not include any

annotations); the works cited IS NOT included in the 12-15
page requirement

Works consulted page MUST be included, if applicable (do not
include any annotations); the works consulted IS NOT included
in the 12-15 page requirement.

Attach the Final Research Paper as a Word Document.
This assignment is worth a total of 200 points.
10 points will be deducted for each page under the 12 page
minimum requirement or each page over the 15 page maximum
requirement.
You are NOT required to submit a title page, an outline (you
already completed this assignment, and I do not need another
copy), or an abstract (in the rough draft phase, I was able to see
enough of your paper that I do not need an abstract). You need
only include content notes or an appendix if your paper
warrants that material. They are not required.
