DVB-H • Provides digital TV to mobile devices • Combines traditional TV broadcast standards with elements specific to handheld devices • mobility, smaller screens and antennas, indoor coverage and battery consumption. • Transmission of Data mainly as IP frames • Bridging Digital world with IP world • New video compression scheme (H.264) with lower bitrate and for smaller screen size • approx. 390 Kbit/s per stream (MPEG2 34Mbit/s)
