The Migration of the Natives to North America
10,000 years ago, Natives from Asia crossed a natural ice bridge called Beringia, it was
made on the Bering Strait.North America was uninhabited by humans. The reason for people
coming to North America was for food, a new climate, and most importantly a whole new life.
One reason they came for food was because of survival. If they had no food then they
wouldn’t survive. They also needed tools and weapons to make a fire, to catch food and any
other things. They also need armor and heavy clothing maybe for heavy weather or defense. But
the main reason for food is to keep everyone’s body nourished with the right amount of nutrition
to keep healthy.
Another is for the climate. The ice age changed the climate area dramatically. And also
the Beringia ice bridge. Because it changed the climate where it was originated from, the Bering
Straight. They needed to find a way better climate then what they were in because they were
losing lives because of the climate. And if they found a better climate maybe they can start
farming or get work done faster.
And finally one of the last but most important reason they came was for a new life
because maybe they wanted a new religion or to get away from all of the bad life they live in and
maybe to find a good community with more people and to have their own land. Or they could
have possibly been curious , or they might have had forced migration. For example the prisoners
were forced.
So again, a new life, climate change, and searching for food is what led the population of
the western hemisphere.
And this migration led to the making of the civilized colonies and culture.
