About I am a teaching artist. I believe education in design fundamentals offers profound futurist directions for our creative economy. My teaching promotes integration of creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication within the learning community of the art classroom. I lecture at the School or Design and Creative Technologies at The University of Texas at Austin I teach observational drawing, fashion drawing, design fundamentals, and life drawing at the Art Institute of Austin. I specialize in in-depth creative critiques, visual problem-solving, creativity consulting, STEAM curriculum development, and art historical guidance for strong contemporary creation.
