11. What is a Pap Test?
A Pap test is a simple screening test that can
help prevent cervical cancer
A Pap test looks for abnormal cell changes on
the cervix, which is part of the female
reproductive system
Cells are taken from the cervix and are sent
to a lab to be looked at under a microscope.
12. Women and men 50 to 74 can
visit the coach for an FOBT kit
13. How is the FOBT Test done?
1. Get a kit from the Coach or from your doctor
2. Plan 3 days before you start as you cant eat
any citrus fruits
3. Take two samples from 3 different poops –
within 10 days
4. Label the kit with the dates and time each
sample was taken
5. Mail it in

If you have a family history of
Colon Cancer we can start the
process of referring you for a
colonoscopy
A referral form will be filled out
and your family doctor will sign
off on it
You will receive a phone call
from the clinic about when
your appointment is
15. Results
You will receive your results in
the mail 4-6 weeks after
screening
You may receive a phone call in
regards to breast screening if
more images are needed
Your family doctors will also
receive a copy of the results
