This presentation was given for youth services staff during the 2013 Michigan Library Association's Spring Institute Conference, as well as to all Kent District Library information services staff and managers. The learning outcomes were to provide resources for planning and preparing for successful outreach events, and to encourage staff to let their passion shine through when talking with the public about library services.
