V for vendetta is a 2005 political thriller set in London in
the near future. It is directed by James McTeigue and
produced by Joel Silver.

Starring: Hugo Weaving as V and Natalie Portman as Evey
Hammond

It is about a freedom fighter (V) known only as who
uses terrorist tactics to fight against his totalitarian
society. Rescuing a girl from the secret police (Evey)
he finds his best chance at having an ally.
Reaction shot are used to create tension for example when his about
                          to kill someone.

Motivated cut is used when he gets rid of his armour after the fight to
show sympathy as the audience can see he is now vulnerable.

Cross cuts used when someone is being killed this is because it shows
a lot of things taking place, it focuses especially on the reloading of the
                                    guns.

These techniques effects the way the audience sees each character,
such as V as having no mercy however you can sympathise with him as
he is fighting for being able to keep your identity secret.
The slowing down of the scenes adds tension and the slowing down of
scenes when his killing people shows precision and his power over the
                                 person.
