Canada type of government hannah moulds

 1. 1. What form of government democracy or authoritarianism do you believe would best serve the interests of Canadians?
I believe that the type of government that we currently have is perfect for our country and the citizens. Parliamentary Democracy is a government where an executive branch and legislative branch are elected. This is important because we are not only choosing a leader; we are choosing many people to be responsible for what decisions are made in our country. The executive branch is who makes decisions, but in order for them to be enforced, the legislative branch must support them, and then the judicial branch is who administers these decisions or laws. And if there is a time where the House of Commons has lost confidence in the government, they will force the government to resign or there will be a forced election.
This type of government accepts many, if not all, principles of classical and modern liberalism. The citizens have a voice, as well as the freedom to choose who they think best represents their voice. In order for a country to be successful, they must include the citizens and give them the power to develop the country. This system does just that, we elect whomever we feel would do the best job in these branches in order to maintain a peaceful and strong country.
