  2. 2. The War of Attrition (1968-70) This article is regarding Jerusalem, one of the oldest cities in the world, its history and the War of the Attrition, one of the Major Israeli Conflicts.  
  3. 3. Today, Jerusalem is at the center of a great political controversy which affects not only the Jewish people and the Muslims and Arabs in the region, but Christians as well thus engulfing a major part of the globe. The War of Attrition (1968-70)
  4. 4. The War of Attrition (1968-70) The Crusades were launched in Jerusalem which lasted for nearly two hundred years. The primary objective of the series of Crusades was to recover the Holy Land from the growing influence of Islam.
