Since 1999, a large group of institutions from various European cities with a rich Art Nouveau heritage decided to come together to create a first European cooperation network: the Réseau Art Nouveau Network. Study, action and valorisation of Art Nouveau are the key objectives of the ambitious programme set by the Réseau Art Nouveau Network. Enterprising and committed, the Network champions a rigorously scientific approach, as well as aiming to keep professionals informed and make the general public aware of the cultural significance and European dimension of this heritage through exhibitions, publications, conferences, educational tools, databases and other often multilingual productions. By informing the civil society about Art Nouveau heritage, the Réseau Art Nouveau Network aims to increase the awareness and therefore the responsibility of the new generation. Additional information is available in various languages on the website www.artnouveau-net.eu Association member cities: Ålesund (NO), Aveiro (PT), Bad Nauheim (DE), Barcelona (ES), Bruxelles-Brussel (BE), Darmstadt (DE), Glasgow (UK), Helsinki (FI), La Chaux-de-Fonds (CH), Ljubljana (SL), Nancy (FR), Provincia di Varese (IT), Regione Lombardia (IT), Reus (ES), Rīga (LV), Terrassa (ES).
