Tahoe Mountain Resorts – Truckee, CADeveloped by East West Partners, a leader in the creation of lifestyle-oriented realestate, Tahoe Mountain Resorts include three distinctive communities in the North LakeTahoe area.   5. 5. ADDITIONAL PROJECTSWesthaven Condominiums – Vail, Colorado 2005-2007Thirteen luxury condominium residences developed on a difficult site in the CascadeVillage neighborhood of Vail, Colorado. Success of this “front door” project dependedupon the transfer of affordable housing requirements off-site.Grizzly Ranch Cabins – Portola, California 2003-2005The Grizzly Ranch Cabins included the development of two and three bedroom singlefamily residences adjacent the Bob Cupp - designed championship golf course andprivate community of Grizzly Ranch. The residences have been part of a short termrental program for club and homebuyer prospects, operated by Destination Resorts. Links:
  6. 6. The Lodge at Gray’s Crossing – Truckee, California 2007-2009The Lodge at Gray’s Crossing involved the development of a 135 room condominium hotel. Asthe development principal, I led the land acquisition, business formation, planning & designdevelopment, approvals, and financing for this project. The project was taken to the preliminarydesign stage with financing available. However the project was “shelved” in late 2008 due tomarket conditions and the viability of a condominium hotel concept.Program 123 Whole Ownership Units – One/two bedroom 72,700 sf 12 Fractional 1/13th Share Units – Two/three bedroom 18,300 sf Restaurant/Spa space 10,000 sf Total Net Square Footage 101,000 sf Lobby & Hotel Back of House 17,500 sf Circulation 29,500 sf Underground Parking & Storage 45,000 sf Total Gross Building 193,000 sfKey Components of the Project  One of the most successful boutique hotel operators, Kimpton Hotel & Restaurant Group, was brought on board to operate the hotel and restaurant  Partners included John Dern, a successful owner and operator of the Prescott Hotel, Townhall Restaurant, and other notable establishments in San Franicsco Bay area  Architectural design by BSA - Bull, Stockwell, Allen , a highly-acclaimed architectural firm focused on the hospitality industry
