Static/off-line test  Static/off-line test :  Performed when motor off or shutdown  Usually performed once a year.  Quality assurance tool.  New base-line of future trending.  Troubleshooting  Off-line test include :  Traditional test method  Insulation resistance testing (meg-ohm)  Polarization index  High potential resistance testing  Surge comparison testing.

DYNAMIC/ON-LINE TEST  On-line test :  Performed when motor still on or operating  Can be performed daily, weekly, or monthly.  Condition monitoring.  Digunakan untuk mendeteksi  Winding shorts between conductor and coil  Winding contamination  Insulation to ground faults  Air gap faults, including eccentric motor  Rotor faults  Current analysis with current clamp.  Flux coil.

DYNAMIC/ON-LINE TEST  Current spectra.  Collecting current data on each power leg at the panel using current clamp.  Comparing the current from each leg.  Current spectrum can detect probability of broken rotor bars, uneven air gap, bowed rotor.  Flux coil  Used on the motor.  Collect data of the flux field generated by motor.  Indicate potential problems at the windings.

  15. 15. Oil Analysis Oil Analysis adalah tes yang dilakukan untuk mengetahui kondisi dari pelumas. Dan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat kontaminasi pada pelumas tersebut. - Apakah masih bisa melakukan tugasnya dengan baik? - Apakah ada kandungan air atau kotoran? - Apakah ada logam atau unsur lain yang memberikan peringatan dini dari keausan. Tes yang dapat ditambahkan : - Visual Analysis - Smell

Oil Analysis Advantages  Dapat menentukan kondisi bahan aditif pada pelumas.  Dapat mendeteksi adanya kontaminasi dari fluida lain.  Dapat membaca adanya keausan partikel sampai 6 mikron. Disadvantage s  Tidak dapat membaca adanya “Abnormal Wear Particle”  Tidak dapat menentukan sumber dari keausan.
