2. And off he flew leaving Sammy to think about
paint and polish and pep-me-up drinks. Sammy
wasn’t sure any of them would help, but perhaps
it wouldn’t harm to try them.

3. So he waited for the spaceships to return.
He waited...
and waited...
and waited,
feeling more miserable than ever. He was quite sure
they’d forgotten all about him.

6. But they hadn’t!
One day, all three arrived
TOGETHER!

8. Jimmy flew up and said, “Sorry I couldn’t come
sooner. I’ve been so busy! But I haven’t forgotten
your pep-me-up drink.”
“Pep-me-up drink!” said Jenny. “What nonsense!
That won’t help you. It’s my polish you need, not
some stupid drink!”
“Don’t listen to those two fools,” said Johnny. “They
don’t know what they’re talking about! You’ll feel as
good as new after I’ve put a new lick of paint on you.”

9. “Well, I think...,” Sammy said.
“Paint!” said Jimmy. “What rubbish! Paint isn’t going
to help a jot and neither is any polish.”
“My polish is the finest you can buy,” said Jenny.
“Well, if you ask me....,” Sammy said.
“You can’t get any better paint than mine anywhere in
the universe!” said Johnny.
“I don’t want to,” said Jenny, “because I know it
would be a waste of money!”
