The California Air Resources Board, as part of their Short Lived Climate Pollutants program and Senate Bills 605 and 1383. The resultant CARB goals is to reduce emissions of hydrofluorocarbon gases by 40% below 2013 levels by 2030. California signed SB 1013 in August of 2018, codifying SNAP 20 and 21 into law, primarily applying to equipment manufacturers.
