Why you need to join the morning club

  1. Why you need to join THE Morning Club
  2. There is a secret club
  3. that has operated long before recorded history. There is a secret club
  4. Members of this club love it and never want to leave.
  5. They claim it: increases ENERGY, pumps PRODUCTIVITY, builds CONFIDENCE, AND launches their SUCCESS EVERY DAY.
  6. Non-members just think it’s weird.
  7. It’s called THE Morning Club
  8. Membership will jump start your day.
  9. I’ve been a member for over 20 years
  10. Psst… And today, I’m giving you a guest pass.
  11. Here’s why the is so successful: THE Morning Club
  12. 1. Most people are “morning people”
  13. 1. Most people are “morning people” We have a 24-hour circadian rhythm that responds to light. During the day the hormone melatonin increases and you get drowsy. Light in the morning reverses the effect and fills you with new energy, hope, and focus.
  14. 2. Your body needs exercise
  15. 2. Your body needs exercise Our body is build on a chassis from the Palaeozoic age when all we did was hunt and hibernate. Nothing has changed, except we don’t hunt and we “hibernate” too much. Every day you need a healthy dose of exercise to stave off dementia, stroke, and heart disease, slim the belly and boost your energy, diet, and alertness (in case of saber-tooth tigers).
  16. 3. There are less distractions in the morning
  17. 3. There are less distractions in the morning During the day, children, phones, appointments, email, and work get your attention. But the morning time… that could be all yours.
  18. Here’s how membership works.
  19. 1. Make a plan the night before
  20. Don’t try to make decisions in morning. Instead, write out a simple plan the night before (and sleep on it). 1. Make a plan the night before
  21. 2. Add time to your routine
  22. 2. Add time to your routine Complete your planning with cut-off times like: 5:30 write blog, 6:15 fast walk with dog, 6:45 shower, breakfast, 7:30 leave.
  23. 3. Go to bed earlier
  24. You want to be fully rested (most studies recommend 7-8 hours sleep) and alert for the MORNING CLUB. If you plan to rise one hour earlier - go to bed one hour earlier. 3. Go to bed earlier
  25. 4.Get up earlier
  26. The Mayo Clinic recommends a consistent sleep-wake cycle for optimal health. Stick with this new routine for at least three weeks. 4.Get up earlier
  27. 5. Stick to your plan
  28. 5. Stick to your plan If exercise is at 6:15AM - at 6:15 stand up and go. The Morning Club sets the tone for your day - be a promise keeper.
  29. 6. Make this a routine
  30. 6. Make this a routine Don’t let visiting relatives, staying out late, or being tired throw you off. Your job is to practice your morning routine until it becomes a habit.
  31. 7. Reward yourself
  32. 7. Reward yourself Enduring habits always deliver a reward. Mark your calendar, check a list, pat yourself on the back, or ask for a HIGH 5!
  33. ! Keep coming to the MORNING CLUB and BONUS! you GET A BONUS!
  34. It’s called willpower.
  35. The science behind willpower is:
  36. The science behind willpower is: When you strengthen willpower in one part of your life (like getting up early and sticking to a routine) you have more willpower for the rest of life (for sales calls, difficult conversations, and saying “No”).
  37. You see, you aren’t just rolling out of bed earlier
  38. You’re making a whole new you.
