The Study had four main objectives <ul><li>To determine what it is that makes organizations Hewitt Best Employers ; </li></ul><ul><li>To assess how well organizations currently deliver against this; </li></ul><ul><li>To analyze the relationships between Hewitt Best Employers and business results; and </li></ul><ul><li>To identify emerging workplace trends for the future. </li></ul>

CRF Award Background <ul><li>CRF UK, an independent business research organization recognizes best employers in UK </li></ul><ul><li>The independent research process included desk research, analysis, the completion of a questionnaire and interviews with senior management and employees. </li></ul><ul><li>The final section was then based on pay and benefits, career development, corporate culture, diversity / equal opportunities and leadership, and for HR strategy evaluation; recruitment strategies, knowledge management and employee relations. </li></ul>

  11. 11. “ Employee First, Customer Second” Philosophy <ul><li>In February 2005, Vineet Nayar, CEO, HCL Technologies announced a radical new philosophy, “Employee First, Customer Second” (EFCS). </li></ul><ul><li>Through this philosophy the aim was to create a unique employee organization, drive an inverted organizational structure, create transparency and accountability within the organization, and encourage a value driven culture. </li></ul>
