4. Key Lessons – 5 Mins
• Ants are determined
• Ants look for opportunities no consideration for
defeat
• Ants cooperate: Community trumps individualism.
Single ants are not bright.
• Ants Communicate Effectively
• Ants Plan for the future
• Ants are Single Minded as a team. Mission trumps
personal agenda. Distinct function, single goal.
Members of one body. (Romans 12:4‐5; I Corinthians
10:17, 12:12‐27; Ephesians 1:22‐23, 3:6, 4:4‐16,
5:30)
7. Ants and Cooperation
• Colonies operate through
organised co‐operation and
task‐sharing
• Ants work together to capture
prey that is bigger than they
are
• they can call up extra workers
when an abundant food source
is discovered
• Weaver ants use silk squeezed
from ant larvae to “glue” leaves
together for nest building
• Nursemaid ants look after eggs,
larvae and pupae, moving
them from place to place each
day depending on the
temperature
9. Ants Communicate
• Each colony of ants has its own smell. In this
way, intruders can be recognized immediately’
• The secret behind such organised societies is
communication through the use of around 20
pheromones, emitted by ants' secretory
organs
• These chemical signals are used, among other
things, by queens to attract males; for marking
territory; to alert nest‐mates to danger; to
lead other ants to a source of food; and to tell
them which ants are dying and need removing
from the colony.
• Technically have 20 smell substances they can
use to communicate. Chemical words, Simple
code!
10. Ants and the Future
• Proverbs 30:25 tells us that “Ants are creatures
of little strength, yet they store up their food in
the summer.”
• Ants are thrifty creatures.
• They don’t fritter and waste their summer days
in some off hand way, instead, they work
diligently, storing food for the rainy and wintery
days ahead.
• Matt 6:19‐21 If you want to exist in a future, put
your resources towards that future.
• Ants are wise. You think they are one of the
weakest creatures, but they have wisdom that
many men do not have. They save part of all
income to use later in life.
• They work hard when the getting is good, and
with an eye to the future, they save for harder
times
11. Single‐minded Ant
• Collective will of the Ant colony. A super Organism. One
Mind!
• All ants participate, no space for arm chair analysts
• 40,000 ants make up the composition of the human brain,
their lives depend on working as a unit.
• Ant colonies are founded on two main “castes” of ant:
queens, whose sole function is reproduction, and their
industrious, sterile, worker daughters. (The only use for
males is to inseminate the queen; afterwards they are
either driven out of the nest or killed.)
• Ants work in teams to move extremely heavy things,
capture prey, and they can summon extra workers when
an abundant food source is discovered or the colony is in
need of defense. Ants can also adapt their duties to
overcome an unforeseen problem

Scriptures
It is more blessed to give than to receive. (Acts 20:35)
1 Thes 5:12-18
12 Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge
those who work hard among you, who care for you in the Lord
and who admonish you. 13 Hold them in the highest regard in
love because of their work. Live in peace with each other.
14 And we urge you, brothers and sisters, warn those who are
idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the
weak, be patient with everyone. 15 Make sure that nobody
pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is
good for each other and for everyone else.
16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all
circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

The Way He Wants You to Live!
12-13 And now, friends, we ask you to honor those leaders who
work so hard for you, who have been given the responsibility of
urging and guiding you along in your obedience. Overwhelm
them with appreciation and love!
13-15 Get along among yourselves, each of you doing your part.
Our counsel is that you warn the freeloaders to get a move on.
Gently encourage the stragglers, and reach out for the
exhausted, pulling them to their feet. Be patient with each
person, attentive to individual needs. And be careful that when
you get on each other’s nerves you don’t snap at each other.
Look for the best in each other, and always do your best to bring
it out.
16-18 Be cheerful no matter what; pray all the time; thank God no
matter what happens. This is the way God wants you who belong
to Christ Jesus to live.

Things to Know
1. You have one minute to Share what you do! Learn how to
give an elevator pitch.Who is your ideal customer, what do
you sell.
2. What One Thing is my Brother/Sister looking forward to this
week? One Thing – Focused and Achievable. Note it down.
3. Who can I refer them to this week! Or do I need their
SERVICE? Who do I know that needs their Service?
4. Since most of us are involved in one network marketing
company or the other, we cannot share network marketing
opportunities, we must share an opportunity that does not
compete with what anyone in the group does. As we get into
groups where we are the only networkers, this rule can
change.
