InterContinental Hotels group is a pioneer in the development of the hotel industry Worldwide. My Current job
Works as Senior Sales Reservation at (IHG), Dubai international airport Desk at terminal, 1.
Job summary,
Sell all IHG Hotels Group and maintain effective communication on all reservations made, maximize the profit
of the hotel and being committed to the customer satisfaction, include key responsibilities such as: recording all
pertinent information and attend to enquiries, complaints and requests regarding reservations, Remain up to
date with all the promotions in and around the hotel and follow established procedures to process all room
reservations, rates, confirmations, hotel facilities, etc.
Job Responsibilities:
 To promote and sell all participating IHG hotels in the program appropriately (by establishing the guest
need and budget).
 Identify trends and opportunities to maximize sales and revenue.
 Sell the IHG products and services using up selling and suggestive selling techniques.
 Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge about all participating IHG hotels in Dubai.
 Ensure bookings are made at the desk as per the agreed procedure.
 Escalate any operations (Rate and availability) related issues to immediate supervisor.
Curriculum vitae
 Ensure to coordinate with the participating hotel for any special request from the guest upon
reservations and should be taken note at the confirmation letter.
 Demonstrate professional level of guest experience at all times.
 Collaborate with departmental managers on weekly postings for master reports to facilitate the
accurate and timely writing.
 Create positive first impression to the guests by adapting professional physical appearance and
interpersonal skills and behaviour.
 Maintain intimate knowledge of departmental standards and procedure.
 Participate in all trainings as required (Wheel Meeting/ TSA training /leadership training/ Direct line
meeting…etc.)
 Attend daily team briefing with the rest of the team.
 Ensure proper communication and coordination within the department.
 Perform other specific task as needed.

Crowne Plaza hotel is a part of IHG had been worked in Front desk as a receptionist.
