COLORSI found out that people who don’t really or do buy magazine’s a lot don’t really look for a color but if it is a high contrast or is surrounded by darker colors for example an yellow magazine surrounded by black magazines, Sam fits this example perfect as he said he would be more likely to read a magazine that stands out on the rack. Roly stated that he would only get something that he was interested in and would really pay much attention to the color arrangement. Over all I think I should take some care and attention in the color picking process, as I find it important to cater for as most as possible to get as much sales as possible, and as Roly doesn’t really take much attention in the colors and Sam does I can make a colorful magazine and still sell to both just as long I keep the basics of a magazine with information still of good quality for Roly and still Sam but Sam would of still picked it up.
ADD-ONSAdd-ons are usually extra objects found in the packaging such as a bracelet, or something else depending on the type of magazine it is part off, a music magazine would have a poster or a cd for example and Sam said that he would be much more likely to buy the magazine if it had a add-on inside the same with joe and Roly. An add-on can be the deciding factor in someone buy the magazine or walking away.
THE MUSICMost magazines focus on one genre or group of music and others a mix of music types but still related for example mainstream music and independent music could be the categorys that control the magazine. Joe likes RnB so he would pick a magazine that concentrates on that genre or a depending of the artist it might be in the mainstream music magazines so he might buy that magazine instead he has a choice in his music magazine but only depending on the type of music that is featured. These magazines all feature ‘foo fighters’ but there all different.
