Working pattern <br />Shift work – is where people who have their business open 24 hr and there employee works the same shift consistently, its usually better for the employee as their body clock can get used to it, if you don’t work different time than last week then your going to be mentally and physically tired. <br /> <br />Fixed term – fixed term contract is a short term work that ends in a specific day, this will be a good example if a women is on maternity leave. <br />Freelance – is where you are self employed and you don’t work for no one else (you are your own boss). This is common in these type of field: filmmaking, editing, web design etc. <br />
  12. 12. Walt Disney horizontal integration big 6<br />Walt Disney is one of the big 6 company and they are well known for being a motion picture producer. The corporation is now known as the Walt Disney Company and has a annual income of roughly $35 billion. <br />

Walt Disney own other companies like the ABC television group and other small company that ABC own/made like ABC family, ABC Kids etc and playhouse Disney and many other companies, with the amount of money they have they plan to buy other companies in the future. They also have there own website which they own Walt Disney Internet group which their role is to update the Disney website which offers videos, games, trip and entertainment from their company. <br />

Conglomerate <br />They own a cinema distribution called Mira Max, which means they can show their movie, and by doing so they will advertise their movie around the world and make half of the money to what Mira Max made from that film. They also own a film production called touchstone picture, which is a big company so that means they’re going to be more viewers. They also publish their own DVD’S and sell merchandises and have their own shops, to make their name bigger they also have their own TV Channel and comics, and not to mention they publish music like ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’. <br />
  15. 15. Sony (vertical integration)<br />Sony is a world wide multinational conglomerate company that specializes and leading manufacture of electronics, products, for the consumer and professional market. <br />

Subsidiaries <br />Sony own numerous of subsidies like television and music production, the list of subsidies are electronics, and they sell batteries and television to music players and skilled video and sound equipments. Video games, Sony also own Sony Computer Entertainment, they made known consoles like PS1, PS2, PS3, and PS3 slim, Film and Television production, Sony are a sole shareholder of major label distributer Sony Music.<br />
