ELECTRONIC TATTOO

They are not tattoos.they don't contain any ink nor involve piercing through skin.they can stick to the skin as band aid and consists of sensors.in addition to sensors wireless networking capability provided with which contrlolling can be done from remote computer or smartphone.

  4. 4. WHAT IS ELECTRONIC TATTOO?  Stretchable , ultrathin electronic patch  Forms human-machine interfaces  Small ,flexible circuit device  Sticks comfortably to skin as temporary tattoo
  5. 5. HISTORY • Rogers Research group at the university of illionois at urban –campaign has given us stick-on electronic tattoos
  6. 6. TRADITION APPROACH • EES technology came in 1929 • Bulk electrodes were mounted on skin via tapes,strapes etc • Circuit boards, power supplies and communication system are basic parts • Poorly suited for practical application outside lab
  7. 7. CONSTRUCTION: • Circuit is made of sillicon • Circuit has filamentary serpentine shape • It allows them to bend,twist,scrunch and stretch • Approximate dimensions of tattoo circuit 2.1cm*3.1*5microns

  10. 10. SLAPPING OF ELECTRONIC TATTOO • Vandewalls interaction allows the tattoo to stick on to the skin • Allows the tattoo to stay in position without any glue • As the vanderwall forces are weak it can be removed easily

  15. 15. COMPUTER GAMES CONTROLLING • it performs voice controlled video games with 90% accuracy • With a tatto attached to throat • It can transform commmands like up down left right stop go
  16. 16. DUARABILTY TEST • A EES is mounted on cheek and elbow for upto 24 hours and to verify compatibility • It remained intact and no redness or inflamation was observed even after subject had lunch • But tattoo attached to elbow will be cracked with in 8 hours
