INTRODUCTION Mundra Port is located in the north of Gulf ofKutch, Gujarat. Draft ranges from 15 to 32 meters. It has 8 multipurpose berths. It is capable of handling Super Post Panamax andCapesize. Port has SPM which is capable of handling VLCCs andULCCs. It Exports Clinker, Salt, Automobile, Container etc. Imports are Coal, Iron Ore, Mineral, Containers, Fertilizer,etc.

HISTORY The Adani Group was founded in the year 1988 under theleadership of Gautam Adani. Company was incorporated as Gujarat Adani Port LimitedMay 26, 1998. The name of Company was changed to Mundra Port onJuly 7, 2006. It is one of the largest privately managed port in India,promoted by Adani Group.
