  4. 4. Famous City  Shanghai is the largest city in China, and there are18 million people living there. It’s near the East China Sea, so it’s also one of China’s biggest seaports.
  5. 5. Famous Place  The Great Wall is 4,500 miles long, the longest man-made structure in the world. It’s also one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
  6. 6. A Piece of History Chinese history is divided into dynasties, and each dynasty had several emperors living in different periods. The first dynasty was the Qin Dynasty, which was founded in 221 B.C. The last dynasty was Qing Dynasty, which ended in 1912.
  7. 7. Fun Facts The giant panda lives in the mountains of southwest China and nowhere else on Earth.  The Chinese invented paper.  With over 1.3 billion people, China has more people than any other country on Earth. 
