  • It is about the Pain and Money involved. Even after doing all that, end of the day we will have a RDMBS confined to NoSQL principles. So, I suggested NoSQL as a better option for cloud. Ofcourse, NoSQL databases has its own problems when used in transaction systems.

  • I disagree that NoSQL is considered as basic feature. You can achievve horizontal scaling without NoSQL as well!
