It may feel like Irish fighters in the UFC has been an overnight success. The real
story is Irish MMA has been building towards this success for over ten years.
This picture was taken of SBGi team-mates celebrating at BZFC 6 in 2012.
Everyone in the picture is an MMA fighter. All of them were active on the local
Irish circuit and all of them have progressed to fighting on major international
MMA shows, most notably Paddy and Conor.
