Keto Diet: The Step by Step Keto Cookbook to
Gain Ketosis
Keto friendly”Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken”
Ingredients:
● 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
● 2 tablespoons olive oil
● 4 cloves garlic, minced
● 1 cup heavy cream
● 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
● 1 teaspoon dried basil
● 1 teaspoon dried oregano
● Salt and pepper to taste
● Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
​ Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
​ In a large skillet or frying pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the
seasoned chicken breasts and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until
they are fully cooked and nicely browned. Remove the chicken from the pan and
set it aside on a plate.
​ Lower the heat to medium, and in the same pan, add the minced garlic. Sauté for
about 1 minute until it becomes fragrant, but be careful not to burn it.
​ Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Let it cook for 2-3
minutes, allowing it to thicken slightly.
​ Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, dried basil, and dried oregano. Continue
stirring until the cheese is fully melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy.
​ Return the cooked chicken breasts to the pan, coating them with the creamy
garlic Parmesan sauce. Let them simmer in the sauce for an additional 2-3
minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
​ Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper, if needed.
​ Once the chicken is fully coated in the sauce and heated through, remove the pan
from the heat.
​ Serve the Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken with a sprinkle of fresh chopped
parsley on top for a burst of color and added freshness.
