  2. 2. Two facts about Laws of Leadership<br />Leadership requires the ability to do more than one thing well.<br />No leader does all 21 Laws of Leadership well.<br />
  3. 3. Ask Yourself These Questions<br />Where am I as leader today?<br />What areas of my leadership have taken for granted and need to sharpen?<br />What is the one thing that is holding back the dream of God has put on my heart?<br />
  4. 4. Some Things Never Change<br />
  5. 5. Always remember these ideas:<br />The Laws of Leadership can be learned. Some are easier to understand and apply than others, but everyone of them can be required.<br />The Laws can stand alone . Each law complements all others, but you don’t need one in order to learn another.<br />The Laws carry consequences with them. Apply the laws and people will follow you. Violate or ignore them and you will not be able to lead others.<br />
  6. 6. 4. These Laws are the foundation effective leadership. Once you learn the principles, you have to practice them and apply them to your life.<br />5. The Laws are not based on culture , gender or age. Whatever a leader’s culture , age or gender, the Laws are applicable.<br />6. The Laws stand the age of time. Generation after generation , the Laws are unchanging.<br />
  7. 7. The Leadership Journey<br />The Apostle Paul was a leader with exceptional skills and resolute obedience to the vision he had received from God, but a godly heart was clearly the foundation of his leadership.<br />

As you begin your study of the Laws of Leadership, keep these guidelines in mind.<br />The study and application of the Laws of Leadership will require test and tenacity.<br />Learning the Laws will require a daily commitment to personal and professional growth.<br />Applying the Law will require a willingness to admit weaknesses and to embrace change<br />
