First a Leader must have……. <ul><li>The ability to be a force multiplier…to get people to do the things you need them to do. </li></ul><ul><li>A Leader must: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>be trustworthy in order to lead. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>be effective in the leadership traits </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>work in the Win-Win paradigm </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Remove obstacles, not create them </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>lead from the front </li></ul></ul>
  3. 3. 4 Levels of Leadership <ul><li>Is an inside out approach. </li></ul><ul><ul><li>If individuals are trustworthy, the natural consequence is TRUST </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>With a culture of TRUST , empowerment can take place. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>With an empowered workforce, alignment is much easier to achieve. </li></ul></ul>

Trustworthy <ul><ul><li>So how do I become trustworthy? </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Have High Level of Character & Competence </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Do what you say you will do </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Do it when you say you will do it </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Remove Obstacles from you people. </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Be an Expert in your Field. </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Have the Desire for your team and you to win. </li></ul></ul></ul>
  5. 5. Character and Competence <ul><li>Character: A person with High character exhibits integrity, maturity and an Abundance Mentality </li></ul><ul><li>Competence : A person with high competence has knowledge and ability in a given area </li></ul>

Personal Level <ul><li>Addresses individuals and their personal thoughts, concerns and actions </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Personal = Trustworthiness </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>The combinations of two traits </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><ul><li> Character and Competence </li></ul></ul></ul></ul>
