  10. 10. Best Practices <ul><li>1. Single Inputs :- In order to process the salaries on time, clients should send inputs single pattern and not in multiple patterns. </li></ul><ul><li>2. Adherence to payroll Calendar :- On a monthly basis, our clients are presented with a schedule of activities to release salaries. As per the SLA, clients should follow this schedule and provide all necessary information to VPCS. </li></ul><ul><li>3. Additional Inputs :- Any salary input sent post the scheduled date, will not only delay the process, but could lead to erroneous payouts. Clients should avoid sending additional inputs and make any additional payments with the next cycle unless there is an emergency. </li></ul><ul><li>4. This will enable VCS to release only one payout bill ( Salary and any others), thus bringing down the need for reconciliations and other checks being done </li></ul><ul><li>6. Reimbursement Claims :- All reimbursement claims should be supported with adequate documents and approvals to enable faster processing and payouts of reimbursement. </li></ul><ul><li>7. Draft Invoice :- By using the draft of the invoice as a precursor to the final invoice the cycle time that is to be followed to closing on the invoice and thereby payout gets delayed. Avoidance of draft invoice and using the final invoice is the most effective way. </li></ul><ul><li>8. Invoice Revisions : - Should there be charges in the invoice due to additional or changed input data the payout for all associate gets delayed.
