  3. 3. Please Login and follow these instructions for full access to the database.<br />After you login, you can update your personal profile.<br />

  5. 5. Go to Sign In.<br />You will want to make a personal <br />file to store your resources for later use.<br />

  9. 9. These are the many options<br />you have to choose from when <br />researching a company. We chose <br />this company for example <br />purposes. Click Search.<br />
  10. 10. The database brings up the closest match.<br />Click on the box next to the match, put And<br />in the small box, then click Add.<br />
  11. 11. The information appears,<br /> click Search<br />
  12. 12. There are over<br />5,000 Results<br />Here are the Results. You can limit your Results by narrowing choices down by Specialty, Format or Subject. Just click on the arrow to enlarge options. <br />We will click on Consolidation to give us articles only on Dell’s Consolidation .<br />
  13. 13. Now there are <br />only 132 Results<br />Click the Article Name for the abstract.<br />To read the article, click on Full Text. <br />If it does not have a Full Text link,<br />it is only an Abstract, or short <br />summary of the article.<br />
  14. 14. Here is the article.<br />You can Save, e-Mail, <br />Add to your Folder <br />and Print it. You can <br />also have it <br />Translated to other <br />major languages<br />

  19. 19. To learn more about a company, click <br />on Company Profiles. Industry Profiles are also available. <br />
  20. 20. Put in company name<br />and click on Browse<br />
  21. 21. Click on Datamonitor<br />Report. If you click on<br />Company Name, <br />you will only have <br />an abstract. <br />
  22. 22. Here is information<br />you will generally find<br />which includes SWOT,<br />Competitors, Revenue Analysis<br />Products, and more. <br />Make sure the information is up to date. <br />

If you are going to be researching , or <br />working for, a foreign or multi-national <br />corporation, the government, an NGO, or <br />starting a business elsewhere, you will <br />want to view Country Reports. <br />You will find a well rounded <br />overview of information from intelligence, <br />economic, political ,and cultural, sources.<br />
