  5. 5. 8800 Indoor Unit (IDU)8800 Indoor Unit (IDU) • One IDU for all ITU-R (ETSI) band plans • Flexible, plug-in Data Interface Units (DIUs) • User interface via LCD, status LEDs and keypad – Installation can be carried out without a laptop • LCD Front Panel and Keyboard, for ease of use • Unique Adaptive IF – detects interference and shifts the IF frequency so that the interferer is outside of the pass band of the IF Filter • Single coaxial cable to ODU • Up to 99,999 unique link ID codes ensures secure transmission across the link

The keys on the control panel enable navigation up and down through the menu structure. Access to the keypad is limited to three levels of passwords – USER, ADMINISTRATOR and SUPERVISOR Alarm indication is via LED’s, short messages on the front menu and detailed information in the alarm dialog box, accessed through the menu structure Back-lit display enables operation in the dark
