Running the Slide Show <ul><li>To run the slide show: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Follow the menu path View  Slide Show . </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>To start the slide show from the current slide click the icon present at the bottom of the outline window. </li></ul></ul><ul><li>To proceed to the next slide in the slide show press [ Enter ]. To go a particular slide, right-click the slide show, point to Go to Slide and click the relevant slide. </li></ul><ul><li>To view the notes, right-click and click Speaker Notes . </li></ul><ul><li>To return to the presentation press [ ESC ]. </li></ul>

Creating Custom Slide Show <ul><li>To create custom slide show: </li></ul><ul><li>Follow the menu path Slide Show  Custom Slide Show . </li></ul><ul><li>Click New. </li></ul><ul><li>In the Define Custom Show dialog, enter the Slide show name . </li></ul><ul><li>From the slides listed under Slides in presentation add files to Slides in custom show . </li></ul><ul><li>To reorder slides, highlight the slide and click the up and down arrows. </li></ul><ul><li>Click OK when finished. </li></ul><ul><li>Click the Show button in the Custom Shows dialog to preview the custom slide show. </li></ul><ul><li>Click Close to exit. </li></ul>

Editing Custom Slide Show <ul><li>To edit a custom slide show: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Follow the menu path Slide Show  Custom Slide Show . </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Click one of the Custom Shows and click Edit. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Click Close to exit. </li></ul></ul><ul><li>To delete a show, select the show and click Remove . </li></ul><ul><li>Click Copy to create a copy of a show. You can rename by clicking the Edit... button. </li></ul><ul><li>Click the Show button to preview the custom slide show and click Close to exit. </li></ul>
    6. 6. Adding Function Buttons <ul><li>To add function buttons: </li></ul><ul><li>Follow the menu path Slide Show  Action Buttons . Click the bar and drag it off the menu so it becomes a floating toolbar. </li></ul><ul><li>Click a button and draw on the slide. The Action Settings dialog appears. </li></ul><ul><li>Set the actions under either the Mouse Click or Mouse Over tabs. </li></ul><ul><li>Click OK when finished. Resize the button on the slide using the white box handles and the depth by dragging the yellow diamond. </li></ul>

Applying Animation <ul><li>To animate the slide objects: </li></ul><ul><li>Go to the menu Slide Show and click Custom Animation . </li></ul><ul><li>From the Check to animate slide objects list select the objects to be animated. </li></ul><ul><li>From the Effects tab, select the animation type, direction, and sound. </li></ul><ul><li>Select an After animation effect if the text should change colors after the animation. </li></ul><ul><li>From the Introduce text choose the style for displaying text </li></ul>

Applying Animation (cont’d) <ul><li>Go to the Order & Timing tab to change the order in which the objects appear on the slide. </li></ul><ul><li>Select the object from the Animation order list and click the Move arrows to rearrange the sequence. </li></ul><ul><li>Choose an option for starting the animation. </li></ul><ul><li>Click Preview to preview the animation on the slide and click OK . </li></ul>
    9. 9. Previewing Animation <ul><li>To preview the animation: </li></ul><ul><li>Follow the path Slide Show  Animation Preview . </li></ul><ul><li>Click anywhere in this window to preview the animations. </li></ul>
    10. 10. Transitioning Slides <ul><li>To add transition effects: </li></ul><ul><li>Go to the menu Slide Show and click Slide Transition . </li></ul><ul><li>Choose an Effect and speed for the transition. </li></ul><ul><li>Under Advance choose an option, either On mouse click or Automatically , for slide transition. </li></ul><ul><li>Select a Sound and to repeat the same sound till another one is played, select the option Loop until next sound . </li></ul><ul><li>Click Apply to add the effect to the current slide and Apply to All to add the effects to all the slides in the presentation. </li></ul>
    11. 11. Setting Slide Show Options <ul><li>To set the slide show options: </li></ul><ul><li>Follow the menu path Tools  Options . </li></ul><ul><li>Go to the View tab. </li></ul><ul><li>Select the required options. </li></ul>
    12. 12. Setting the Page <ul><li>To set up the page for printing: </li></ul><ul><li>Follow the menu path File  Page Setup . </li></ul><ul><li>From the Slides used for drop down list choose the format the printed slides will be used for or enter the specific Width and Height . </li></ul><ul><li>Choose an Orientation and click OK . </li></ul>
    13. 13. Printing the Presentation <ul><li>To print the presentation: </li></ul><ul><li>Follow the menu path File  Print . </li></ul><ul><li>Set the Print range . </li></ul><ul><li>Specify the Number of copies to be printed. </li></ul><ul><li>From the Print what drop down list choose the required option. </li></ul><ul><li>Click OK to print. </li></ul>
