  4. 4. Type away & don’t forget to save the changes
  5. 5. Congratulations! “The page has been updated”
  6. 6. The administrator will receive a notification that the page has been changed (we monitor our wiki)
  7. 7. Small changes like this one… <ul><li>You can make this kind of changes on any page as a “guest”, i.e. without being logged in </li></ul><ul><li>Ideal for corrections and spelling mistakes: we are working in many languages so please help (don’t bear with our mistakes)! </li></ul><ul><li>If you want to create new pages or upload documents, you need to be logged in. </li></ul>
  8. 8. Sign up for wikispaces: click on “join”
  9. 9. Enter a recognisable username (helps the administrator), e.g. LizHartiganRNDM
  10. 10. You will receive a confirmation by email (no need to reply)
  11. 11. Welcome! You can now create pages and upload documents. Please also join this wiki so that we can send you updates.
  12. 12. How to add a new page
  13. 13. Add a title (use _) and tags (3-5)
  14. 14. For the organisers of the institute to fill in…

  16. 16. Now let’s add some text and upload a document „ Edit This Page“

  19. 19. This window will come up automatically – click on “Upload”
  20. 20. Choose a file from your computer
  21. 21. The green line shows the status of your upload (may take a minute or so…)
  22. 22. Here is your document: double- click on it to insert it
