Editor's Notes

  1. Hi, I’m Emma Barnes and I run Snowbooks which is a small 5 year old indie publisher. I also co-direct Onix Central. I’m going to talk about ebooks as marketing tools. Our business model is to get onto in-store promotions to get our books in front of as many people as possible in store. We don’t resort to ads or launches or - well, any activity which requires money. But using ebooks has been a new and interesting way to increase the number of people we get our books in front of and I’ll share a few of our campaigns with you today.
