  3. 3. MY GOAL<br />The goal I have chosen to try and accomplish is to get back into a weekly routine of going to the gym and lose a few extra pounds by the end of the semester. <br />
  4. 4. REASONS FOR THIS GOAL<br />Over the summer I was able to lose a few extra pounds easily just by going to the gym a few times a week and eating right.<br />It is something I knew I would be able to do without being too much of a problem and too time consuming.<br />I wanted to stay healthy while at school and having this SMART goal would allow me to do this. <br />

STEPS TO ACCOMPLISH MY GOAL<br />Try and get to the gym at least three times a week for thirty minutes or more each time. <br />Weigh myself at the end of each week to track my progress. <br />Make sure that I was eating properly to go along with the weight I was trying to lose. <br />Gain motivation from friends and family in order to attain my goal. <br />

PROCESS OF ACHIEVING MY GOAL<br />I tried to make it to the gym or work out at home doing various things at least three times a week. <br />I managed to eat healthy (salads, proteins, vegetables, fruits) – more of the foods that I should be eating more often. <br />I was able to gain motivation from my roommates to keep up with my SMART goal. <br />Pushing myself to do this. I knew I could complete my goal if I really motivated myself to do it. <br />I had my eye set on the goal, I could do it. <br />

RESULTS OF MY GOAL<br />All in all, I lost about five-ten pounds from the time we started until now. <br />It was great to see the progress that I made, I received all the motivation I needed. <br />I feel accomplished. <br />Completing this goal has made me realize that it is not that hard to stay healthy, getting the exercise I need and exercising when I should. <br />
