  3. 3. Origin Bonsais’ culture began in China, between 206 BC. - 220 AD. Bonsais arrived in Japan with the monks, around the sixth and seventh centuries.

  5. 5. Longevity The older bonsai is a Pinus parviflora (living since 1500) It depends of the care and the treatment.
  6. 6. Cost It depends of the quality, the beauty, the rarety and the age of the bonsai. In general, a bonsai in pot cost between $50 to $500 000.
