Nature Preservation Foundation <ul><li>A duly incorporated company that is a non-profit, non-governmental body formed by the stakeholders of the Hope Estates namely National Wildlife Foundation (NWF), Fairshare Ltd.and the Jamaica Orchid Society (JOS) </li></ul><ul><li>Leased to the NPF by the Commissioner of lands for a period of 49 years from April 1, 2004 to March 31, 2053. Assumed responsibility of the Estates on May 16, 2005. </li></ul><ul><li>Approved as a charitable organization </li></ul>

NPF’s Mission Statement <ul><li>To develop and manage Hope Zoo and the Royal Botanic Gardens as a sustainable facility for environmental education, applied research, recreation, wildlife and flora conservation for Jamaica and the region; and to position the facility as part of the Tourism Product </li></ul>
