The Trouble with Boys <ul><li>Boys are treated as defective girls… </li></ul><ul><li>Even using the best writing teaching structure we have, writing workshop, boys can seem to be getting the writing done so they can go out and play sports… </li></ul><ul><li>We need to widen the circle and create boy friendly writing classes… </li></ul><ul><li>Embrace the “grit and glory”; the writing qualities boy bring to the table. </li></ul>
