  1. 1. WINGS FOR THE KING By Anna Sroda ( Play )     A PLAY  is a story written to be acted out for an audience. As you read, imagine the actors speaking the lines and acting out the action.
  2. 2. SUMMARY: <ul><li>  The King wants to fly to distant lands and see the world. His loyal subjects bring him wings and other flying inventions. But only the gift of books satisfies the King's search for knowledge. </li></ul>
