(History) <ul><li>The Savannah is a hybrid breed (which means it is the result of mating two different species). </li></ul><ul><li>It came from the African Serval cat and a domestic cat. </li></ul><ul><li>The name Savannah comes from the habitat of the Serval cat; the grasslands of Africa. </li></ul>

They are good family pets and a good cat to start out with if a family has only had dogs in the past. Not only are they beautiful animals, but they are friendly and fun to be around! </li></ul>
