BACKGROUND <ul><li>Blog </li></ul><ul><li>A blog , or weblog , is an online journal, diary, or serial published by a person or group of people. </li></ul><ul><li>Grown rapidly in popularity </li></ul><ul><li>Microblogging </li></ul><ul><li>A blog……but smaller </li></ul><ul><li>In actual size and aggregate file size (Restricted- approx 140 chracters) </li></ul><ul><li>Allows for the user to reveal small pieces of information </li></ul><ul><li>Originally called tumblelogs </li></ul><ul><li>Can include text, images, links….. </li></ul>
