  4. 4. Changes in Today's Market At AlignMark, Inc. we are a Human Resources company with over 30 years experience helping companies grow. As recruiting specialists we are seeing tremendous changes in real estate markets everywhere. Brokers have stopped doing the basics and are struggling with listings and sales and more importantly they struggle to hire and retain qualified talent. A record number of Real Estate companies are cutting expenses way back, closing doors, while merges and acquisitions are becoming less noticeable and agents are struggling to survive and feed their families.
  5. 5. Types of Agents There are two types of Agents. Those with experience and those without. Brokers always seem to want the experienced agents. Yet most often brokers are not able to recruit experienced agents successfully. Why? Because they do not know how to tell their company story and how it can help the agent earn more money, nor do they really know how to coach and develop the agent for additional success and lastly they usually do not take the time to build proper relationships.
  6. 6. Bake a cake! In order to recruit an experienced agent to your company there are many things you must do. Think of baking a cake. First one needs all the ingredients, next you need to combine and mix the ingredients just right, then you must prepare the oven with the right temperature and then you must invest in a certain amount of time baking the cake to ensure a successful outcome. Once all this is done then the icing comes, but not before the cake is baked.
  7. 7. Cake Bake Theme Using the cake baking theme, how can you possibly know what a person needs without assessing their skills and talents before hiring them and promising to help them be successful? What if the ingredient you need is sugar and you mix in salt instead?
