Directions come with almost every product that we buy. We need directions to ensure that we are using a product, or completing an activity successfully.
Think back to some things that you are good at. This thing could be an activity involving sports, school, or just something that you love to do at home. Could you describe this activity or procedure to someone? Would you be able to use enough descriptions and sketches to allow this person to successfully complete the activity?</li></li></ul><li>We are going to start this lesson by brainstorming several ideas. In the table provided, list a few procedures that you believe you could describe and sketch how to do.<br />
Finally the time has come. It is time for you to make your decision. You will now create your own set of directions to teach another student how to do something. Make sure that you have chosen something that you can both describe and sketch. Write the activity you plan to describe in the space below.<br />
