Last year’s synopsis <ul><li>My life up to that point </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Socially awkward </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>No success with women </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Minimal friends </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Decided to change in high school. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Found the community, slowly built up going out. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Lost virginity at prom </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Went to college, met Toplair, started going out a LOT </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Wings drifted off, but stuck with going out </li></ul></ul>

Synopsis (continued) <ul><li>Lot of tough times, some good times. </li></ul><ul><li>Knew what quality girl I wanted, but didn’t have the sense of self worth or “game” to back it up </li></ul><ul><li>One chick after another </li></ul><ul><li>Frustrated, but driven </li></ul><ul><li>… .. </li></ul><ul><li>What kept me going? </li></ul><ul><ul><li>A faint vision of where I wanted to be in the coming years with women . I kept breathing. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Being one stubborn son of a bitch </li></ul></ul>

Picking up where we left off…”My Transformation” <ul><li>Felt something was wrong, couldn’t hook up with a chick I actually liked </li></ul><ul><li>Was going NUTS </li></ul><ul><li>Tore up a loan check for a bootcamp </li></ul><ul><li>Looked at every top guy, realized he had gone out a ridiculous amount of nights </li></ul><ul><li>Decided to go out till I hit 3,000 sets, decided to GET IT HANDLED </li></ul>

Continued… <ul><li>Started going out every night, read The Way of the Superior Man, not 2 weeks in, pulled my first snl. </li></ul><ul><li>2 weeks later, missed the trigger </li></ul><ul><li>1 week later, another snl </li></ul><ul><li>2 weeks later, another pull </li></ul><ul><li>Etc…consistency had finally arrived </li></ul><ul><li>Stuck with it, got the ‘skills’… became tunnel tracked, ditched my friends, ditched my wings, my room mates, everyone </li></ul><ul><li>Life went down hill </li></ul>

Continued… <ul><li>The most miserable time of my life </li></ul><ul><li>Our darkest moments are also our brightest (began writing The Dream Way) </li></ul><ul><li>Or… </li></ul><ul><li>The night is darkest before the dawn ;) </li></ul><ul><li>Met some really cool guys including Defixon and Homerunking (speaking tomorrow) </li></ul><ul><li>The fall semester ended, went home, flourished </li></ul>

Pitfalls to avoid (seriously!!!) <ul><li>Becoming TOO independent </li></ul><ul><li>Losing sight of the forest for the trees (cluster f***lay) </li></ul><ul><li>Living on pooahtron (friends disappear, social skills improve, social life dwindles) </li></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>“ Who you hang out with consistently reflects upon you, and when you don’t hang out with ANYBODY consistently, that reflects upon you as well, ten fold”. </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><li>Not taking your Vitality seriously (health/fitness/mental stability/sleep/energy) </li></ul>
  9. 9. Tips <ul><li>Budget!! Going out is expensive even when you don’t drink </li></ul><ul><li>Make a set time you’ll stay out to every night (discipline) </li></ul><ul><li>Keep breathing (faith in just going out) </li></ul><ul><li>Start a journal (INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT) </li></ul>

After “My transformation” <ul><li>Full 180, re-made friends, organized a huge camping trip </li></ul><ul><li>Family vacation </li></ul><ul><li>Sky diving(LIFE CHANGING) </li></ul><ul><li>Travelling to other college towns (Tampa/Gainsvile) </li></ul><ul><li>Travelling to Vegas/Florida Keys/Cruise ship </li></ul><ul><li>Finishing The Dream Way </li></ul><ul><li>Travelling to Central America (LIFE CHANGING) </li></ul>

You learn by doing <ul><li>Reading can be helpful, but ultimately you learn by doing. </li></ul><ul><li>I was scared shitless of </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Dating </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Sex </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Kissing </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Instructing </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Got through it, and learnt, by doing it. </li></ul></ul>

Going out solo <ul><li>Pros </li></ul><ul><ul><li>FAST way to learn </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Balls to the wall </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Put out a safe vibe, “secret society” stuff </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Gets you socially “lean” </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Cons </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Not as much fun </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Hard to stick with it </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>EASY to get in your head </li></ul></ul>
  13. 13. Tips for going out solo <ul><li>From Sinn/Nautlius- always be talking to someone. Guys, girls (of all shapes) </li></ul><ul><li>Have faith in momentum </li></ul><ul><ul><li>In time you’ll learn how to have fun (and be more comfortable) with meeting people by yourself </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Over the course of a few nights it builds up, but can crash pretty quick due to boredom </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Don’t bring it up, but don’t lie if they ask. You’re out alone, this is something you’re cool with. </li></ul></ul>
  14. 14. Began accepting, stopped resisting Detached emotions from identity, no longer happy or sad, felt happy or sad. Moved past mood swings.
  15. 15. “ I’m happy for you” <ul><li>Story </li></ul><ul><li>Much happier at that point in my life, but a new concept like this kept the edge sharp </li></ul><ul><li>Someone could be happy, for me? </li></ul><ul><li>Simple, yet powerful and authentic. </li></ul>
  16. 16. Equilibrium <ul><li>Figuring out that a source of negative emotions for me was my drive/motivation. It's a double edged sword. *recent story* </li></ul><ul><li>Ask so much of yourself and do great things in your life, but if you always raise the bar a SHIT LOAD every time you hit a goal, you can never be happy. </li></ul><ul><li>Old Anthony robbins quote </li></ul><ul><li>“ To be truly happy we must find our highest ideals and values, and live to them on a consistent basis“ </li></ul><ul><li>We are not always in control of our circumstances but we are ALWAYS in control of our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. We are responsible for our own happiness, and our destiny. </li></ul>

Summary <ul><li>Put myself through a lot of tough experiences </li></ul><ul><li>Learned more this year, than my entire life previously combined </li></ul><ul><li>Transformed/changed on a deep level, but in the end just learned to relax </li></ul><ul><li>“ You’re ability to relax is directly proportional to your ability to draw power from within” </li></ul><ul><li>I love myself, life, and everyone in it a lot more. Appreciate what you have and keep pushing. </li></ul>
