  3. 4. The Purpose… To provide basic needs for families living in the community.
  4. 5. <ul><li>25,000 people are served annually, most being women and children. </li></ul><ul><li>Problems include: Divorce, unemployment, illness, homelessness, and child abuse. </li></ul><ul><li>Programs include: Furnishing school supplies in August and a family adoption program at Christmas. </li></ul>
  5. 6. <ul><li>Food, clothing, small household items, and bedding are available. </li></ul><ul><li>Financial assistance for utilities, rent, and other emergency needs are provided. </li></ul><ul><li>Strive to fix long term problems by improving situations such as looking for work, applying for disability, reducing expenses, or seeking financial counseling. </li></ul>

The Health Clinic <ul><li>Provides prenatal care for the medically indigent and helps improve the nutritional support for the “at risk” population . </li></ul><ul><li>Services include: prenatal, well-baby clinic, speech and hearing screening, childbirth classes, and nutrition counseling. </li></ul>
  8. 9. “ HOPEfully Yours” <ul><li>Opened to raise additional funds. </li></ul><ul><li>Located in downtown Edmond </li></ul><ul><li>Items include: overabundance for the warehouse, dry clean only clothing, toys, antiques, and collectibles. </li></ul>
